Little Village
About us
Little Village is like a food bank, but for clothes, toys and equipment for babies and children up to the age of 5. We accept donations of excellent-condition, pre-loved items, which are passed on to families who need support. The items are a gift, given with love, from one family to another.
We provide a warm, supportive community for the families we see, building connections, local networks and facilitating support between parents. Since we launched in 2016, we’ve supported over 17,000 children across London.
Our volunteers are our lifeblood at Little Village and bring solidarity and kindness to our work. It’s a brilliant way to meet new people, to learn new skills, and to make a real and direct difference in your local community. We offer volunteering opportunities at our sites in Tooting, Balham, Roehampton, Kings Cross, Wembley, Hackney and Hounslow.

Joining one of our friendly site teams, you will be sorting and packing items for families supported by the Little Village and your contribution will make an immediate difference to the lives of families experiencing hardship in London.
Volunteering opportunities
Our Baby Bank Helpers support families during their visit to Little Village. At one of our busy sites, help families choose items their children will love. Our Pick and Pack team are based in one of our lively baby banks. Together we sort, check, and prepare pre-loved items for children. Volunteers create high-quality bundles of toys, clothes, and equipment to gift to families. “You can’t imagine the happiness I saw on my little girl’s face when she opened box.
