We partner with schools across London and our KS2-KS4 programmes run for 10-12 weeks during the schools terms. Currently, we are tutoring in Newham, Uxbridge, Hammersmith, Notting Hill, Southwark, Richmond and New Malden. You will be able to select a placement that suits your location and timetable, depending on programme availability.

Volunteers will:

- Be matched with a group of 2-4 pupils and deliver weekly 60/90 minute tuition sessions for one school term (10-12 weeks).
- Use our lesson plans and teaching materials to create inspiring tuition sessions.

- Provide encouragement and guidance for your pupils alongside academic tutoring.
- Receive induction training and weekly support in session from a fully qualified teacher.
- Gain a personalised reference, and access to free career enhancing seminars and a career mentor.
- Get a free DBS check and reimbursement of reasonable travel expenses.

We assess candidates on a case-by-case basis and conduct interviews with anyone who applies to become a tutor. Typically, we are looking for applicants with a strong desire to help others and act for social change. A grade 5 or above in the GCSE of the subject you wish to tutor (English or Maths) is generally required.
