We’re looking for Volunteers aged 16+ who live in and around Haringey & Hackney to join our crew!
As a Volunteer Crewmate, you’ll come along to our teacher-led afterschool sessions to help children aged 9 to 13 develop their reading and writing skills. By championing their work and celebrating everything they do, you will help them, one-to-one and in small groups, to become published authors!
We’re looking for people who are positive about social change and love literacy. No experience working with children or young people is necessary as full training is provided.
Sessions run during term time Mon-Fri, 3:45-6:45pm.
What is next?
Once you have registered your interest, we will be in touch with further information. You will then go on to complete two trainings and a DBS check, and you can then start volunteering in session!
