St John's Ambulance saved me!

My life used to be unfulfilled. I felt lost. There was something in my life that was missing...St John Ambulance changed all of this for me.

In so many ways, St John has been a lifesaver for me! I am able to volunteer about once a month going out on duty serving the community by providing first aid. I have now accumalated over 235 hours service for them on duties alone, and achieved the most hours for cadets out of the whole of Surrey in 2005!!!

But, it is not just about volunteering for me. The friendships I have gained across the county, and across the country, are the best part!!! I have learnt so much...I have been on 3 leadership courses, various camps, and my unit are drill champions for the county!!!

The best thing about St John Ambulance is that the volunteering I do is not just for other people, it benefits me too!!! It is an experience that I hope to continue throughout my life.
