Do you love the beautiful game?

Do you love the beautiful game? Why not use some of your spare time to share your passion, meet other fans, learn new skills and help people with sight problems.

Soccer Sight helps blind or partially sighted people support their love of football with a little bit of your help.

Fancy yourself as the next John Motson? Put yourself to good use by getting involved where you can train as a commentator for blind or partly sighted supporters. They are offering you the chance to be fully trained by the BBC and immerse yourself as the voice of the action. Put yourself well into the excitement with live commentating at a match.

If commentating is not your thing but you still want to help someone enjoy the experience of going to a live game, then become a Match Buddy where you will attend a match with a blind or partially sighted person and share your love for the game with them. You will help them around the stadium, guide them to their seat and share their enjoyment.

Soccer Sight works with Exeter City, Hereford United, Ipswich Town, Norwich City, Nottingham Forest, Notts County, Peterborough United, Plymouth Argyle, Swindon Town, Watford and Yeovil Town.

Wanna’ get stuck into the action yourself? You can become an Assistant Coach for a local team coaching and training young blind or partially sighted people to play football as well receiving a coaching qualification. Soccer Sight are also looking for Football Buddies to help set up and run community football clubs for blind or partially sighted children so they can enjoy the excitement of being part of a team.
