CILT is launching The LAFTAs (Languages and Film Talent Awards) competition to get students thinking about why it’s good to learn languages. You don’t have to be Tarantino or Spielberg; just show them why you think learning another language is important and how it can improve your life.

Prizes include Eurostar tickets to Paris, a week-long French and surfing course in Biarritz, and a family tip to Trip to Castile y Leon, Spain. Judges include Sir Trevor McDonald and Eddie Izzard.

You must be aged 21 or under to enter. Find out more on the LAFTAs website, or get some inspiration from the LAFTAsYouTube site.
