How can I get accreditation through v?
If you volunteer for a v-funded project, then you will be eligible to receive a recognition certificate for the time you have spent volunteering.

You'll get a logbook to record your volunteering experiences, the skills you have gained and the impact your work has had within the local community. This will enable you to apply for a v50 hour Award, which recognises 50 hours or more of volunteering.

v will also be running both regional and national award ceremonies to celebrate the achievements of volunteers aged 16-25. Your local volunteering provider may also provide additional opportunities to gain recognition or work towards accreditation / qualifications.
Even though the MV programme has closed, I still want to volunteer – where should I go?
If you want help finding a volunteering opportunity in your area, you should contact your local vinvolved team. You can find their contact details here: www.vinspired.com/vadvice
I didn’t register all my hours with my MV provider before the end of the MV Programme in March 08 – does this mean I can’t count those hours I spent volunteering before March 08?
If your MV provider is an organisation which is still working with young volunteers, they may be able to award you a certificate retrospectively for the hours you have registered before April 08.

Under v’s new national youth volunteering programme, called vinvolved, every volunteer will be able to keep a record of all the hours they have volunteered using the new volunteer log book. This will enable you to record the number of hours you have volunteered, the skills ou have gained, and the impact our volunteering has had within the local community. v is also offering the v50 hour Award for all young people undertaking 50 hours or more of volunteering. If you are unable to contact your MV Provider, please email vinvolvedteams@wearev.com
Can I apply for more than one project through vcashpoint?
You can submit one application for each round of vcashpoint. However, as vcashpoint only funds new or development projects, you can only receive funding for a specific project once. If you submit subsequent applications, these should be for different projects or for a development project – that is, a project that has been carried out once in the past, where you want to develop the idea further and involve new volunteers.

You can only submit ONE application per round of vcashpoint. Applicants that have applied for funding for different projects in different rounds must ensure that project timetables do not overlap.
How much money can I apply to vcashpoint for?
The total cost of a vcashpoint project cannot be above £2,500. v believes that most small youth-led short-term projects can be completed within an average value of £1,500. If you strongly believe that your project requires more than £1,500 funding, you will have to complete the “extra funding” section of the application form. Here you will have to demonstrate why your projects will cost more why you can’t access cheaper or free alternatives and you will also have to reflect this in your budget break down.
